Seeing Buddha

"The Teaching". In late December 2015 His Holiness the Dalai Lama travelled to Bylakuppe, India to give a ten-day teaching to tens of thousands of people from the exile Tibetan community living in India. The events began with the inauguration of the Tashi Lhunpo monastery, one of several in the area. His daily talks, given entirely in the Tibetan language, were focused on reading and interpreting ancient Tibetan Buddhist scripture. There were some few hundred foreigners in attendance but the vast majority of the audience was comprised of monks, nuns and laypeople from neighboring exile communities.
